The EENT Competitive New Orleans Biomedical Research Grant Program

The EENT Foundation has earmarked $500,000 per year for its competitive biomedical research grants program. The program makes grants available to colleges, universities, and non-profit healthcare organizations in Orleans, Jefferson, and St. Tammany Parishes for use by these institutions and their researchers, clinicians, and students.

The grants are intended to support scientific, translational, and clinical advances in preventing and treating diseases and disorders of the eye, ear, nose, and throat, including related issues involving the head, neck, jaw, and brain.

The grants are awarded in five categories: General Research, Fellowship Research, Undergraduate Research, Student Project, and Capital Equipment. All awards must support EENT-related studies.

Research grant applications are reviewed and scored by independent experts and the funding decisions are made by the EENT Foundation.

The application instructions for each grant category describe the specific requirements and terms applicable to grants in that category.
